The scarey place

A few weeks ago i posted about Keira freaking out every time we went past a certain place on Cannock Chase Well on Thursday we walked past there again and she went nuts trying to pull her head collar off and get away :san41: Mickey didnt bat an eyelid :nhy:

Anyway we decided to go again yesterday and took the video This is how she reacted It wasnt as extreme as the day before but you can see she definately is not happy

The last two videos are when we have walked past and she is pulling me away from the spot she doesnt like

Any ideas on what you think she is scared of Someone said it could be badgers but not sure as there are houses quite near I thought badgers dens were usually well away from humans She has reacted like this at the precise spot about a dozen times now over a period of about a year

We keep joking that there is a dead body buried there and she can smell it :san41: Anyway see what you think

has anything scared her there b4 as a youngster? it could be anything hun really could but if i was tocontinue walking there i would keep her on a short leash so she cant run off so she learns its ok......

No Keira has only ever been there about half a dozen times and has reacted like this every time We only walked there because there was a house we were interested in nearby We decided not to persue that after Keiras reaction

We totally forgot about her acting like this and only remembered when we walked past the other day Then we went again Friday with the camera just to see if she did it again When we walked there before we came from the opposite direction so i didnt even realise it was the same place until OH mentioned I wouldnt walk here on my own :nhy: but we are definately going back to have a nose about I cant resist I was born to be a ghostbuster Wont take Keira again tho

Definately wouldnt go there on my own :nhy: Its not actually that scarey where it is because there are some houses close by but would only go there if OH was with me We dont normally walk on this part of the Chase anyway We are just really intrigued to know what is bothering Keira Mickey didnt act strangely at all She definately either sensed or could smell something all of a sudden in a certain spot Once she pulled me past it she carried on her walk fine and wasnt bothered

It could be all sorts, have you looksed up in the tree's, I remember you said before about people dying there, could be someone hanged themdelves in one of the tree's :shockhorror:

Will look up next time Its a mystery You never know I will be looking for old newspaper stories now to see if anyone has been found there

:qa1: How weird is that The place where this happened is Slitting Mill quite near Rugeley and Brereton which is mentioned in one of the comments :shockhorror:
We do walk Keira in Brocton but she has never had any strange reaction there and we have never come across the headstone

I felt a bit guilty taking her there again the other day but i had to get it on film just to confirm it Ive only been there with her twice OH has taken her the other times and i just assumed he was exagerating when he said she freaked

Typical Keira she is quite highly strung compared to Mickey

Ive been on Cannock Chase and felt uneasy before but can honestly say i didnt feel it when we were there I am really intrigued by it tho will have to see if there are any alien spaceship markings in the dirt :san22:
