| today ive finally managed to get round to installing the bark stop at the bottom of the garden... i thought i had combatted freds problem barking when he hears the neighbours in the garden, but NO.... hes decided just lately to ignore anything anyone says or does to stop him.... so it has now been in place for about half an hour.... freds not barked once, but im not counting my chickens... :2431: im under no false illusion that i will work, this is fred were talking about, he will find a way :2445: ..... i have noticed the neighbours dogs on the next street at the back of us are very quiet though :san42: will keep you updated http://www.doggoodies.co.uk/Pro-bark-stop.htm | |

| She has always been like it since a pup, I bought the anti-bark collar, it worked for like a day then she would bark through the pain barrier, she just can't help herself, I tried it on me and it gives a static shock, like when you get out of a car or something, she doesn't care less :nhy: | |

| fred didnt bother about the collar i bought him... it worked for a day or two, then i think he either didnt care about it or his fur got in the way... hes been in and out the house all morning and the barking seems to have been reduced, he goes to bark and then stops lol.... fingers crossed it works on the yappy dogs at the back of me too :2431: | |

| Marley Barks constantly at the bay window when people walk by, I have even turned the chair around so he cant sit on it Like king of the castle, he barks constantly if I leave the room until I come back in again. I am constantly apologising to the neighbours who are really good and understanding!! I have ordered a one Shell to place in the front room, I will try anything!!!! | |

| Well The bark stop arrived on Saturday morning and we plugged it in the living room. As soon as we open the curtains Marley gets straight onto his throne to await his public!! Within 5 mins the guy with the springer spaniel he hates walked past the window, Marley barked as usual......and abrupty stopped, Barked again and abruptly stopped, I went out of the room and usually he barks like mad until I come back in..........not a squeak from him!!..........no barking today either at anyone walking past the window! If this carries on it will be well worth the £30 it cost.........the citonella anti bark collar that cost £60 was a waste of money!! | |

| I found that citonella collar usless as well other than on the odd occasion, I may invest in one of these anti-bark things to shut Misty up in the house, and Hazel has started to bark at every car door etc lately as well | |

| Its been so peaceful for the past 2 days, recently I have been so embarrassed about his barking that whenever I saw our neighbours I kept apologising they have been great and they just laughed and said that they just turned the tv up when he starts. he would go crazy at the door if I left the room to go upstairs, not a peep today. He is still sitting on his throne looking for his adoring public but is just wagging his tail. :2431: | |

| :2445: @ Marley Keep us updated about how its going
Might have to invest in one of these Mickey keeps barking in the garden
Infact ive got Keira who goes nuts barking at people at the front and Mickey who barks at the back Its a pain because we live at the end of the cul de sac and he barks at people walking in the field at the side Dont want the neighbours moaning :nhy: and need to put a stop to it before he gets into the habit of constantly barking | |
