....and it's only half past eleven!!!!

Cor!! What a morning it's been so far!

6.15 am & the hound is barking hysterically and throwing herself furiously at the back door.On sleepily letting her out I was made aware by her rising hysteria at being ignored that there were three pigs in the garden who had troughed their way through my veg patch & were starting on the flowerbeds. Once they'd been hustled out and trapped in the paddock and their rightful owner,a nieghbour informed of their whereabouts I retired indoors for a brew.
I checked the rescued hedgehog en route and all seems to be okay there,though she/he didn't eat any of the proffered food last night.
After a reviving cuppa,I stepped out to empty the teapot of its' leaves onto the flowerbed & discovered a toad,trapped in a bucket who's now been relocated to the rockery.

Animals eh, who'd have 'em?

( I think I'll go back to bed!!!! )
