| We had a visit from one of Chloes friends last night.
We havent seen her for a little while as she has been in hospital following a rather nasty fall from her horse. Apparently she was out cold for almost 20 minutes & broke her collarbone.
When I asked how she was she said 'Broke & with one very angry boyfriend!'
When I asked why she explained that in hospital they cut off her new tweed jacket (£220) and then proceeded to cut off her underwear (Bra £105. Knicks £65) A Valentines Day present from her BF who she said was livid with her for riding in them!! :2431:

| They just dont care in the hospital though do they? Another friend of ours broke her back in a fall and that cost her a new jacket, breeches, shirt, underwear the lot! And a friend of my brothers came off his bike and they cut a £900 leather suit off him!! :san41: | |

| We laugh now but I believe it was quite nasty. We werent there but from what I can gather the horse she was riding was broncing with her and slatted her into the wall virtually head on! | |

Been a few nasty falls lately. Rosie Chinery (the young eventer) has broken her neck & is in a coma I believe. Her horse literally died under her! The spinal cord is undamaged though so the long term prognosis is good. | |

| When we were looking for insurance for Chloe nobody would touch her cos they said that riding is considered to be one of the highest risk sports. We were gobsmacked! To us its just something we've grown up with. | |
