1) Firstly, can we thank everybody that has donated to the fund recently, we now have a much needed healthy bank balance, but please note that this is not going to last forever, and constant donations are needed.

If you havent already, please consider setting up a monthly standing order in favour of BIGGSD. Even if all our members set one up for £1 per month, it would make a considerable difference, and given that financial help is going to be even more needed over the coming months, so are donations.



2) We have no objections to people cross-posting from other sites, but PLEASE keep the post updated. Do not leave it to the moderators to check whether a dog you have cross-posted, has been rehomed or not.



3) As we now have a reasonable balance in the bank to help the dogs from a PTS situation, we now need great homes to put them in! We are asking all our members 'to spread the word' about BIGGSD.



4) EASYFUNDRAISING - This is still a great way to raise funds for the site without it costing you anymore to buy goods. Please take a look at the various posts on the board relating to Easyfundraising.




5) More & more people are joining the BIGGSD weekly walks. Please dont forget that you can buy sacks of Arden Grange from John at extremely competitive prices. Please ring/PM John if you want to ensure he brings a bag for you to the walk.



6) We have every intention of stocking up on new garments advertising the site, but please be patient. Cheryl is snowed under with work at the moment (31st January deadline), and is unable to make enquiries with regards to prices and availability.



7) We are currently looking into changing the status of BIGGSD to enable more fundraising. We have a member who has offered to take on the role as our Fundraiser, and we are actually quite excited about future prospects. We will keep you informed of the progress on this point.
