It takes me about 5 mins to walk to Cullercoats Bay, 10 mins to Tynemouth Longsands, 10 mins to Whitley Bay Beach and a 10 mins drive to Seaton Sluice Beach.

They put a dog ban on Cullercoats, Tynemouth and Whitley Bay from 1st May to 30th Sept so we tend to go to Seaton Sluice which is a beautiful beach, and we havent been back to Tynemouth since Marley got poisoned.

I agree with Gazi!! It is disgusting!!! I think in 8 years we took Emma down when she was a year old, the problem I think is we have a beautiful coastline but lousy weather!! :2431: these days is a different matter Marley loves it down there!

Its not a sewerage pipe but a drainage pipe, I suppose with us living here we dont take much notice, theres large drainage pipes on Seaton sluice beach too, if we get a lot of rain the water flows, no rain its dry!
