jude...... about sky

im having sky installed on the 6th of this month :san12: but as you know, i wont get the broadband until later on..... do i ring virgin up on the 6th and cancel the phone and digibox? or do i wait until i have the broadband as well, then cancel it all?

and another thing ive just thought of, i never asked before i signed up ... is the broadband wireless, or should i have specified this beforehand, we have 3 laptops running off virgin at the moment!...

its all soooooooo confusing lol....

So pleased to hear you are going with SKY! All I can say Shell is that I havent had 1 disconnection since we went over. We have the free broadband too which I will be honest is slightly slower than what we had with Virgin but not so much that it makes a huge difference.....but then it outweighs all the disconnections I used to have!!

We informed Virgin when it was all up and running so we werent without any services.

The broadband is Wireless and we have 3 laptops and a pc running off it!

Its brill I have no complaints about it Shelley, I have everything I had before without all the problems and £15 a month cheaper than I was paying virgin!!

Hope it all goes well Shelley and if its as good as mine I think you will be more than happy!

ahh cheers hun!... i thought it would be better to cancel once we had the full service from sky, but thought i had better check...
phew, im so relieved that its wireless, i was panicking thinking of the backlash of having to share one connection lol....
were saving about £10 a month and we will be getting the full tv package, unlimited calls and the 4mb broadband.... fingers crossed the slower speed is not so noticable lol... nicole loads quite a bit of music, i think it was only £5 more to upgrade, and that still a few pounds cheaper than virgin, and we get much more!!

Service has been much better

It will be great, I couldn't live without my sky, I hardly ever watch BBC and ITV now :nhy:

Been thinking about Sky for a while but been too lazy to do anything about it.

I have just had a look on the homepage and one of you have to be a SKY customer to qualify but it says the offer ends on 3rd March. I would still ring them up and ask tho its worth it.

i will ring the bloke in the morning then, and ask if the offer is available to us, and i will give him your mobile number if thats okay bev :love:
