My grandad passed away today It's a sad day! 805515

Very unexpected, he was in respite care while my nan was poorly....he was found this morning on the floor, he had a massive lump on his head and had had a heart attack but they're not sure if he fell before or after the heart attack It's a sad day! 743284

WHat I want to know is how and why he fell, he couldn't stand or walk unaided, surely he should have had an alarm pad that sounds off when the patient leaves it It's a sad day! 300576

However, it won't bring him back, he was an amazing man It's a sad day! 805515

I feel a little bit numb if I'm honest.... It all seems surreal, I don't think I took in the enormity of what was happening to be honest It's a sad day! 583730

I also feel awful that I didn't go over there, and then I learn on Facebook that one of my cousins made it over to say goodbye!!
