Our Day out in York...pic heavy

Our trains were on time and we met in York at around 9.30. The weather was really kind to us, we had a wander around the town went for a coffee and decided for dinner that we would have a picnic in the park (yes us northerners have breakfast dinner and tea in our day......not breakfast lunch and dinner   )
Heres some pics from our day out, It wasnt strangers meeting for the first time it was good friends who live a distance away from each other meeting up in the middle for a good catch up. Considering the news I had on Friday I had a lovely day, Suzie Kerstin and Issie made sure of that and from the bottom of my heart I am so grateful

I found out Suzie doesnt like birds around her Issie did a great job chasing them away

we couldnt find any plastic glasses for our wine but we are classy northern girls and we improvised!!













we went for another wander and stumbled across an owl display, Scaredy cat Suzie kept well out of the was but Kerstin was more brave









Then it was back to the park to let Issie have another little run around the park, she was well photographed and made friends with people from san diego california, Japan and a hen party!! Then it was back to the station to say bye......only blip of the day was me nearly getting on the wrong train home!

Brill photos missus.       it was fantastic to meet up finally and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day. Issie   is still shattered today bless her. Have to add I wasnt the only scared cat yesterday someone with us didn't like things that buzz either.            birds are slightly bigger than bees and wasps wouldn't you say?  

We must of walked miles yesterday but had a great time Judes finally managed to get on the right train lol

Will post my pics when I finally get them transferred from my new phone  the technophobe in me is having serious issues with it.

There was a 4.48 train to newcastle and a 4.58 train to newcastle both leaving from platform 11. we were in the lift when I heard the train now on platform 11 is for newcastle! Panic mode stepped in i jumped on the train and Suzie asked the guard if it was the newcastle train luckily the guard checked my ticket and my train was the next one at 4.58  

  Thats the kind of thing i would do  

 love you two drinking out of the bottle in a park  brilliant.

Looked like a really lovely day meeting up like that, little Issie is a delight, giggled at the strawberry, it's huge

  good job the guard came past when she did.

Us northern lasses know how to look classy!   Issie took a bite out of nearly every strawberry then ate nearly all of them we had to be quick to get one she loves em!

awwwww blast Ive been having probs with photobucket and Ive lost loads from there!! GRRRRRR looks like ive lost these uploads luckily I still have the pics on my pc!!
