i think they look lovely Most breeders dont like colours Shell, then again some breed specifically for certain colours. I have Shadow, but he was neutered at 15 months old,i never intended to breed with him. Breeding colours is not my thing but we like what we like,so everybody different and yes, there are some nice coloured dogs out there.

| i agree with sue shelley
but its all down to money
gsds are about the only breed where the kc allows colours that dont comply with the breed standard to be registered . even on accredited breeders it states you must comply with your breed standard whites, blues ,etc dont comply but do the maths yourself over 12,000 gsd pups registered last year at £13 each almost treble many breeds
then look at the whites, blues being advertised every week lot of money to lose if you do not register them
but if joe public wants to pay above the going rate for a fault then thats up to them
many dont realise its a fault until they want to try showing

| See this is what pisses me off.Breeders who breed these rare colours and price them ridiculously high. They are not rare, they are a fault.Ok,i have a white, but as i have already stated he was neutered at a young age as i never intended to breed with him. Its the way these breeders advertise them as rare and unsuspecting public think theyre getting some thing special and are daft enough to pay the price. Although i do think some of the blame should go to the puppy buyers as if they did their research they would know exactly what they are getting. | |

| My missus and I love the pure white and black sheps more than the traditional brown/black colours.
And the Blue Australian Shepherd is just gorgeous. I've had working gun dogs most of my life, pure breed Labs and Spaniels and never registered any of them or had desire to show them. Just love them
