| Wow! what a caring person you are to think about my two boys! Thank you
Story so far:
Oz....is Oz! Nothing wrong with him that a bit of discipline and putting in his place didn't work. He is supposed to be here for a 'holiday'......but I haven't heard anything so I am not sure. Wouldn't put me out if he was here to stay.
Bauer....he went up to a friends to be retrained. We took him up last night and they introduced him to five of their Shepherds and three of their Jacks....went down brilliant. I was quiety pleased. They took him out this morning and he made friends with a lab and spaniel, he walked to heel etc etc etc....
Typical story of people who 'baby' their Shepherd boys till it gets to a point that the dogs are confused and want ot protect their humans...misplaced love. Both were 'babied'....one thing you ~ can't do with a male! I know I do coochy coo but not to this extent...my Shepherds are workers so need strong leaders. This woman took this dog to bed, feed him off the same plate as hers (whilst she was eating), sent me a 'list' of Mr Bauer Whytes likes and dislikes! ARGH!
Thankfully, he seems to be responding now to me, Dom and my friend...who don't take crap and he is settling.
I am happy with his progession since last Tuesday but to be truthful I wouldn't trust the dog yet...too many human issues in him!
So far so good.
Thank you for asking....I do appreciate that. |

| ive been meaning to ask for a few days the others are useless .. they forget sounds like theyre both on the road and definately in the right place to 'recover' it'll be interesting to see if oz' owners come back for him ''Typical story of people who 'baby' their Shepherd boys till it gets to a point that the dogs are confused and want ot protect their humans...misplaced love. Both were 'babied'....one thing you ~ can't do with a male''i made this mistake with fred ... it was a very big mistake ... ... it took me ages to correct the problem, but i wasnt giving up on him ... | |

| Good for you. A lot of people when the boys reached 14 to 18 months can't deal with the 'overgrown baby' and Juvenile nutter who has hormones raging and is confused with who is leader! You persevered....a lot of them do, they get my advise, come her for training (them) etc, but some are just numpties. How do breeders who do not have the facilities work this ...they can't possibly take them back? I don't breed much but I know the problems which can arise. Maybe it is because my ones are dominant, MAles are males and Females act accordingly. Or it might be that some folk want a stuffed do in the corner who goes for a pee and poo once a day and they can brag.... I have a German Shepherd. I Vet mine hard and it can still happen...what of those who have pups next to the peas in the stockroom!!!!!???????? |

| luckily freds breeders were VERY helpful ... they told me as it was and the mistakes i had made... there was no sugar coating ... took a while for it to sink in and realise ... but when it did i got it sorted ... hes a lovely dog and will take the p**s if you let him ... which is mainly my OH rollseyes ... the dogs walk all over him fingers crossed oz' owners are taking stock of what damage theyve done and are working on how to change it ... hopefully | |

| What is your Freds breeding...he is recognisable.
On Oz.....I don't care...we talked about it and we might just buy him back! think they are putting their energy into his daughter that Dom bred. |
