I know this question has already been asked but cant remember the answers Dogmatic 981857

Who uses a dogmatic and what size/type did you order?

Ive been saying for ages im gonna get one for Mickey and i still havent Dogmatic 658515 but as he seems to be getting worse on his walks i think i need to try one

Keira has one which she hates Dogmatic 165548 im sure it was a size 3 in the padded cushioned webbing which was the size that was recommended for GSD bitches at the time i bought it (site now has GSD only size 3L) i think it seems too small for her so never use it any more
She was always foaming at the mouth when i used it Dogmatic 658515

Anyway i was thinking of getting Mickey a leather one in a size 4 as he does have a big head and is quite hairy and jowly
It says to give extra room if this is the case

I know some of the dogs didnt take to the head collar straight away but did anyone have the problem of the foaming mouth Dogmatic 300576

Mickey is becoming a real pain in the arse now whenever he goes out Dogmatic 894833 Its not just dogs he goes off at now Dogmatic 482195 its anything or anyone which is a worry Dogmatic 1129

He will be having a stay with Zep in a few weeks so hopefully he can work on that for me Dogmatic 910222 then i think id better start taking him back to training Dogmatic 910222

i have never used one but it sounds that keira is getting really stressed thats why shes foaming, do you just put it on her for walks , or did you introduce her to it in a nice way with treats , mindy hated her halti so i just let her walk round the house with it on treating her all the time,

Marley and Kala both have dogmatics, kala doesnt really need one apart from she sometimes decided to have a jump at Marley to play if she isnt on it and its usually when we are crossing a road I also started using one with her cos she was a bugger for eating Marleys poo!!! Dogmatic 502598

marleys is a 3L he objected to it for a couple of months trying to get it off with his paws, rubbing his face on the grass etc etc and runs away when he sees it coming ( Kala sits and puts her nose in hers!!). he now walks beautifully with it it was a hard slog at first but I took small treats out to distract him. i couldnt do without one for marley

Dogmatic 300576 Knowing me i probably just put it on Dogmatic 658515 i know better now Dogmatic 910222
Your probably right about being stressed she hates her halti aswell

I will introduce Mickey to it slowly Dogmatic 910222

What type does Marley have Jude Dogmatic 300576 is it a snug fit Dogmatic 300576

I always imagine Mickey and Marley to be about the same size and build Could you let me know what his nose size is just to compare Mickey is quite jowly thats why i was thinking of the size 4 Dogmatic 300576

Bryn had a size 4 and it was to small around the mouth Dogmatic 300576

I haven't used a dogmatic for years, Misty had one as well, I say it everytime, they did my head in with the long fur, but many people love them Dogmatic 910222

marley has quite a slim face Bren so try a 4, if you are unsure if you ring them with the neck and muzzle measurements they will advise you.

marleys is fabric padded and kalas is leather

i have a fabric padded dogmatic for Sam....size 3L and it fits him well.

I hope this helps but here is the link for dogmatics, scroll down to the bottom. it looks like it depends on which one (ie fabric, leather etc) you use... I hope this helps

I have 2 one for Storm and one for trouble (Dusk) storm doesnt like it but will put up with it Dusk still fights with the damn thing......but they are great i love them!!! Storm had a halti and had a knack of slipping it she had it down to a T.

The woman at the site Lainee gave you was fantastic i ordered on for Dusk cant remember the size but it was to big emailed her and she sent me the correct size that night before i had even posted the wrong one back!!! she was very very helpfull and friendly service was FANTASTIC so i went back and bought Storm the head collar and a lead....
