| I know this question has already been asked but cant remember the answers Who uses a dogmatic and what size/type did you order? Ive been saying for ages im gonna get one for Mickey and i still havent but as he seems to be getting worse on his walks i think i need to try one Keira has one which she hates im sure it was a size 3 in the padded cushioned webbing which was the size that was recommended for GSD bitches at the time i bought it (site now has GSD only size 3L) i think it seems too small for her so never use it any more She was always foaming at the mouth when i used it Anyway i was thinking of getting Mickey a leather one in a size 4 as he does have a big head and is quite hairy and jowly It says to give extra room if this is the case I know some of the dogs didnt take to the head collar straight away but did anyone have the problem of the foaming mouth Mickey is becoming a real pain in the arse now whenever he goes out Its not just dogs he goes off at now its anything or anyone which is a worry He will be having a stay with Zep in a few weeks so hopefully he can work on that for me then i think id better start taking him back to training | |

| i have never used one but it sounds that keira is getting really stressed thats why shes foaming, do you just put it on her for walks , or did you introduce her to it in a nice way with treats , mindy hated her halti so i just let her walk round the house with it on treating her all the time, | |

| Marley and Kala both have dogmatics, kala doesnt really need one apart from she sometimes decided to have a jump at Marley to play if she isnt on it and its usually when we are crossing a road I also started using one with her cos she was a bugger for eating Marleys poo!!! marleys is a 3L he objected to it for a couple of months trying to get it off with his paws, rubbing his face on the grass etc etc and runs away when he sees it coming ( Kala sits and puts her nose in hers!!). he now walks beautifully with it it was a hard slog at first but I took small treats out to distract him. i couldnt do without one for marley | |

Knowing me i probably just put it on i know better now Your probably right about being stressed she hates her halti aswell I will introduce Mickey to it slowly What type does Marley have Jude is it a snug fit I always imagine Mickey and Marley to be about the same size and build Could you let me know what his nose size is just to compare Mickey is quite jowly thats why i was thinking of the size 4 | |

| Bryn had a size 4 and it was to small around the mouth I haven't used a dogmatic for years, Misty had one as well, I say it everytime, they did my head in with the long fur, but many people love them | |

| marley has quite a slim face Bren so try a 4, if you are unsure if you ring them with the neck and muzzle measurements they will advise you. marleys is fabric padded and kalas is leather | |

| i have a fabric padded dogmatic for Sam....size 3L and it fits him well. I hope this helps but here is the link for dogmatics, scroll down to the bottom. it looks like it depends on which one (ie fabric, leather etc) you use... I hope this helps http://www.dogmatic.org.uk/contents/en-uk/d10.html | |
