Heidi got allergy, housedust and something the call bearing mit... the vet tells me that it is in all kind of dogfood, (not in the frozen food)

We have tried all sorts of food to her...it seems to be okey for a few month...than the allery comes back... she get a lot of earwax and itchy... we have to clean her ears once a week with allergy cleaner (derma pet malacetic otic, hypo allergenic) and special shampoo for her body.... it seems that I will have to put her on allergyshots... 🤔

If any of you can talk to the vet for me in England and try to find out the best treatment? I would be so gratefull Allergy 434936 ... because the alleryshots isn`t that well..and the vet here seems lost... :nhy:

All I just want is for my baby to be well

Evy can you not feed her raw meat and some veg? use a meat that she has never had in complete feed. most feeds contain grain and cereals of some sort, their are feeds on the market, Salmon and potato, this is the sort of recomendation i used to give my clients that had dogs with all sorts of allergies, also see if he has checked her ears for yeast, this can also cause problems with dogs with allergies too,

I have tried raw food..worked for a few month....
Because of her bloat the vet here in Norway sais that she shall have lamb and rice... so I have also made her homecocked meals... but some how the allergy keeps coming back..
I also clean the house every day...because of the housedust...

It is so upsetting to see her when the allery is really heavy... my poor girl..

We have been at the vet taking all sorts of tests of her eras

is it the raw food from Vom og hundemat, you've been using? if it is the one with salmon, you should try another one. because the one with salmon give some dogs allergies.. Diego got the same allergies, but he's been fine since they started raw feeding 10 months ago.
The vet here advised us not to start raw feeding because it would make Lexus aggressive. So i did some checking online on English sites, and figured the vets here doesn't know what they are talking about.. they wanted us to use eukanuba. even tho it didn't work that well on Lexus.

We're feeding vom og hundemat, different types of meat and entrails and raw moose bones, he's getting one egg every Saturday, one spoon with seal oil every day and carrots.

Ok.. then i would try another vet, one who knows a lot about allergies

http://www.vetsenter.no/Sider/Annet/Artikler/Kloe.htm don't know if you have been there already, but you might get some advice from it.

I have big problems with shadow, itchy ears and paws, not sure what the connection is but if his ears are bothering him he always chews his feet
been at vets so many times and all they give him is ear drops and antibiotics
but when the antibiotics are finished it just starts again,i feed him skinners
duck and rice as its hypoallergenic but it doesnt seem to make any difference
i've tried him on raw but most of it gives him the runs so i'm kind of at a loss
myself. :2431:

I have similiar problems with Sabre, but also dry itchy skin. Took a couple of years and 3 vets to find out he has an autimmune condition... too many white blood cells. He is on Atopica now, which seems to have helped more than anything else, his skin is a lot better but ear infections still occuring, though less frequently.
