| In a bit of a dilemma here. My current contract ends in 3 weeks time and I have the choice of 3 others. One in Manchester, one in London and one in Newcastle. If I chose Manchester I can travel every day and, with the lighter nights coming, that would mean more time with the horses and the dogs. With the other two, I would have to stay away during the week, coming home on Friday night. No brainer you would think BUT the rate for the two 'away' contracts is quite a bit higher and we could really do with the money atm. Arrrghhhh! What to do?!!! | |

| That's a toughy, I wish you all the best with ever you choose. London living/staying costs can be quite high, like someone else has said write out the pros and cons of each maybe research the cost for each one ie accomadation/travel/food, general living costs for the away ones [right] | |

| Will the extra pay benefit the staying away from home? and the lack of seeing family and pets, how long is the contract for? will you have to commit to it if you can't handle being away? Will it put a strain on your homelife if your away? it's a hard one good luck though and I hope you make the right choice | |

| Thanks guys. I would miss my dogs more than anything (especially Nico) but I have accounted for all the costs (accommodation, food, petrol etc) and I would still be quite a lot better off. The Newcastle contract is initially for 3 months and I guess I can last that long. My head says away but my heart says home. . I wouldn't have even considered this had Chloe been younger so I can understand you saying you couldn't stay away Shelley | |
