| Same here Shell, I would be more afraid of the tube and the damage I would do.
But I found the article extremely interesting, to see exactly what happens and how a dog is saved.

| I could only find a place in USA who got them, but they didn't send to norway.. and now i can't find it.. lol I'm getting 2 of the men driving the ambulance to help me make it, hopefully i'll never have to use it tho.. But the vet is going to show me how it's done, and where to puncture his stomach if i need to.. But i would only use it if knew i wouldn't get to the vet in time, or the vet couldn't get to his office in time.
But the first thing to do if you think you're dog might have bloat, is to call the vet and rush over there as soon as possible, don't try to do anything yourself if you don't know what you're doing!!
I've read about a woman who posted in a forum to figure out what to do when her dog got bloat, she got a lot of different advice, and decided to listen to those who said she should wait until the next day to see how the dog was doing, the next day her dog was dead. She could maybe have saved him if she called the vet and went over to the vets office instead of posting in forums.
