| Anyone have any experience with Rimadyl? Just looked at what Mimi's on and carprofen is another name for rimadyl. I've heard plenty of nasty stories about it killing dogs etc but I know you get that with everything so was just wondering what people think? | |

| I only looked it up cos shes in a very deep sleep, was not impressed that its renamed and they didnt tell me. All they said was to stop giving them if she gets sick. Nothing else. Will keep an eye on her | |

| Marley has been on rimadyl off and on and he's had no bad effects with it. I was iffy about him being put on it when he had his bad leg but it really helped him. | |

| Keira was on it when she was ill i looked it up on the internet and was shocked by the horror stories I think most of the scarey stories are quite old She was fine and had no side effects
I worked at a vets for a while and it was one of the most prescribed drugs | |

| his leg is fine hun but if he over does it when playing with Jez he can sometimes hurt it again and we have to keep rimadyl in usually one or two tablets later he's fine again. I read all the horror stories too and refused to put him on it at first and got ed to ring our vets, who wasnt neil at that time, and I felt happier when he said his dog was on them but if Marley was sick or had the runs and any blood then to stop them immediately. He was fine tho! | |
