| Awww poor Zara Keira suffers from one dirty ear im always cleaning it Its cant believe how dirty it gets so quickly I just use the ear cleaner i get from the vets tissues and cotton buds If she scratches and makes her ear bleed i just tend to dab it with some kitchen towel soaked in really cold water I always have to try and distract her from scratching it | |

| Keiras ear has been terrible today I only noticed she was shaking her head and twitching her ear alot after i read your post earlier I only cleaned it a few days ago but it was really dirty again so ive cleaned it but its really been annoying her this afternoon she keeps scratching it and has managed to make it start bleeding I might take her to the vets and get them to have a look at it again We had a good spell when it went ages before needing cleaned but just lately her ear is black every other day She does like rolling about and rubbing her head on the grass it makes me wonder if shes picked up some kind of mite but then again its only one ear she has a problem with Were Zaras ears dirty | |

| I use The stuff i got from the vets called Virbac Shes been fine this afternoon no scratching atm and she hasnt been out in the garden rolling about today I know her ear will be full of dirt again within a few days I think she just gets loads of wax in that one ear the other one is always clean Shes had this problem since she was a pup She makes it worse when she scratches and makes it bleed | |

| I'm always wary of putting wet solutions in dogs ears incase they've got an infection, I find it always makes it worse .... | |

| Hows Zara doing now Lorz I took Keira to the vets today to get her ear looked at and came back £87 lighter Mind you i did get some advocate for both the dogs aswell so that was £30 odd of the bill I came out with some Otomax for her ear and he also gave her an injection to stop the irritation I cleaned it when i got home and cant believe how much wax has built up since i cleaned it the other day this sorts her ear out | |

| Same as Shelley, Thornit, its in a powder form but more gritty, Bryn used to be always scratching his ears until I started using it, it lasts forever as well. I also use it after I have taken the hair from inside Ellies ears to ensure she doesn't get an infection (tip from a groomer for little dogs with hairy ears) | |

| Hows he doing Bren? be the death of us these dogs.......
Honestly, get some Thornit, it cheap and will last ages, nothing to lose if she doesn't get on with it but a marvel for us with dogs that do. | |
