| It came, it was erected and he doesn't like it The blokes got it up in quick time and even erected the dog kennel we ordered too .... The run looks amazing ...we covered the floor in astro turf, put some Ramps and shelves in at different levels so he can climb even a tunnel ....he's got his cat litter in there, a new house and some toys .....it looks great fun in there lol I've been putting him out after his breakfast in a morning for just half hour for some fresh air, he's not keen yet but he will get used to it ...he is calmer in the house I've noticed though so it must be doing something for him ....if it stays dry tomorrow I will try get piccies | |

| Oooh haven't stopped all day....we've made alterations to the cat run ....we've built an inside bit to it so he can hide away should he want too .... So I will post some piccies tomorrow :) We started out in the garden today at 9.30am and after doing all sorts of odd jobs and going to the skip and shops I finally sat down at 6.20pm Tomorrow the madness starts again with the workmen | |

| I think its because there is no proper cooker socket the electric sockets in this house are s**t so i think it will eventually need a re wire thats why im in no hurry to decorate atm I think im gonna wallup some paint on the walls in the lounge for now just to freshen it up The electrician i rang hasnt called me back looks like i will have to look for a different one shame because he sounded pretty good with loads of good reviews | |

| We need a total rewire too Bren ....shall leave it for a few years yet though, were skint and also going to wait for my brother to take his electricians course in the army so he can do it for us legally lol I could get you the number for my electrician it used for the old house.... They are amazing.... But I'm not sure if they would come from Ashbourne though I wish I had thought really carefully about having a heating system installed from scratch it's awful thank god we've got the cat run though...that one less hassle.... Nothing has gone to plan, the whole house has been a nightmare, it's been put together by bodge it and fix it the gas heater in the sun room was dangerous,if it wasn't for the bloody gaps in it we would have been gassed ... Need to get the gas fires checked next I think and apparantly the Emerson heater was all wired up wrong and probably the rest of the house is too ...it can bloody wait though for a bit | |

| That sounds terrible I thought this house was bad but yours sounds worse We knew this one needed alot of work when we bought it so it hasnt come as a shock Its just a pain trying to decide what to get done first finance wise everything is so expensive I bet your electrician wouldnt travel this far we are over the other side of Stafford so atleast an hours drive Im sure the other guy i rang hasnt called me back because of the distance and hes only in Stone Ive been pricing the fencing up today i did want a decorative one but it would cost a fortune so i think its just bog standard for the back and possible a nicer one for the front when we can afford it ive ordered a 40 foot lunge line today so Mickey can have a proper run about without me having to worry about him squeezing through the fence at the back if he spots the sheep hes such a little bugger i just cant trust him Atleast when all the work is done we can both relax knowing its been done properly | |

| The garden is fenced all the way round but its very flimsy in certain places especially the bit that backs onto the farmers field where the sheep are Its a right mess with cut down panels, panels with holes in and various different size panels Theres about three different colours on them aswell it really does look crap There are concrete posts in atm but theyre all different sizes which is a pain in the bum the posts are only 4 ft max so im gonna have to have a small fence Luckily our garden is higher up then next doors so the drop into their garden would add another 2 or 3 feet so i dont think the dogs would jump over There are trees and plants infront of the panels as well The neighbour was telling us the previous owner was always changing panels or nailing bits on he wasnt very complimentary about him How did you find out about your heating system was it broke when you moved in What a letdown for you finding out about all the problems after you moved in Ive left a message for another electrician again today but not had a call back yet i want my new cooker put in even if means i wont have any units afterwards Ive been on the ikea website today designing my new kitchen i have no patience | |

| Oooh yes ... Pics Hmmm couldn't you add 2ft high trellising all around the top of the 4ft part of your fence?? Would give you peace of mind for mickey I hope you find an electrician soon Hun ...very frustrating The heating system was shyte, but not as shyte as we discovered, so it's a good job we had it done sooner rather than later!!!!..... The builder went on top of the car port today to put a flue in the wall and he noticed that the screws used to fix the roof to the wall were too small so that's another job, but one that my fella can do thankfully It's never ending | |

| I did think about the trellis but not sure how i could attach it without the post height I may just plant some spikey plants or bushes infront of the most exposed bits alot of it has already got trees infront of it | |
