Im not too bad thanks Hes rung a few times apparently theyre gonna be on a cycle with him being FSG so hes back in cyprus next week n then back out again the following week. He had a hell of a first patrol tho  he had 3 contacts and the suicide bomb too. was a tough first week for him but he seems in better spirits now

Just wish i could get into a sleep routine  

Were all thinking of him and wishing him well and a safe tour of duty

This will be his first of many tours Hun.... You will be 'old hat' at it soon

I have news..........

Kyle is now back in Cyprus for possibly 1 wk and then due to return for at least another 3 wks. That was until his injury.

Apparently during some hand to hand combat while out on patrol he has a suspected broken wrist  He has had xrays out in Afghan which were inconclusive. He now has a pot on his wrist and is due to have further xrays within the next 7 days hopefully it isnt a breakage and he will be back with his FSG buds very soon  He is glad of the wk to be back in cyprus but disappointed that he may be unable to return to active duties but time will tell.

Poor Kyle   but i bet your secretly hoping he gets to stay longer in Cyprus so he doesnt have as much time in Afghanistan   Or will he still have to do the 3 weeks at another time  

  Is he due home for Christmas

update alert ::::::

Apparently now hes back in Cyprus he has had an MRI scan and it seems that all the tendons in his wrist have been torn he is now wearing a full pot. He is due back at drs on Wednesday and hopefully begins some physio on the 5th.

On the plus side this does mean he wont be going back out to Afghan until at least February. 1yesAlso it means that he is either home for Christmas or New Year.  

Also some more good news is that hes been put forward for his junior NCO course
