| I took Mickey out in the garden on the extendable lead about 10pm just as it was starting to go dark I was just standing by the gate letting him have a run about when these things started flying about Mickey started chasing them i thought they were birds then i realised they were BATS I wouldnt be bothered normally but they kept swooping down near me as if they were gonna land on me It obviously freaked me out so ran back in they house with Mickey who by this time was totally wound up so what happens next he decides to attack poor Keira who is waiting to go out He is a right little swine I ended up having to pull him off her and settle him down before letting him back in the room with her I wonder if the bats are roosting in the hole Maybe thats what Mickey growls at every night Im gonna be nervous going out there at night now they dart about really fast theyre like bloody great big black moths I bloody hate things that fly at you | |

| Have you got him on any herbal tablets Bren .... Scullcap and valerian tablets alongside valerian root liquid can help takes a week or two to kick in though..... We use them for Fred when we go to shows .... It works a treat, stops him being so anxious At the bottom of the link is the valerian compound .... They normally do an offer of the tablets and compound together..... http://www.dorwest.com/Catalogue/Veterinary-Medicine/Scullcap-Valerian-tablets | |

| Nowt wrong with Bats darting down on you If you don't like em, don't come to visit us, they are all over the place and we have the house martins, so wound up chasing flies they nearly fly in your head We had one in and out of the kitchen a few weeks back, was it a lizard or newt Bren, if you accidently kill one don't tell anyone, its illegal Do you have thickets there Bren, coz if you do you probally have snakes as well | |

| Whats classed as a thicket I wouldnt be surprised Mark saw a snake the other week when he walked the dogs but it was down by the woods I think it might of been a newt Sandra and yes i know theyre protected i just hope the dogs or shall i say Mickey doesnt see one He would probably squash it He pawed at the hedgehogs The bats werent out last night think they come out when all the moths and bugs are about Mark thought what i videoed might of been a bird but it was defo a bat i could see the shape of the wings and that it was black | |

| Wonder what type of bat you have there Bren Where we just moved from, if we left a bucket or anything out and it rained and contained water, we would always get newts breeding in it, they were everywhere, you would move something and there would be a newt under it, only at certain times of the yr though, we had the common type not the rare type You will be ok with the snakes They soon bugger off when they know the place is occupied Me and two lads I was then friends with found a load of baby Adders , we were kids and didn't know, we were playing with them, they were amongst big stones, we put them back, bloody lucky the three of us were | |
