PostSubject: On the move   Mon Apr 23, 2012 12:37 pm

Well it looks like im moving house we have found a house to rent that will let me take the dogs and the rest of the furries....lol Richard would have to go before any of my pets he is about 5th or 6th in my priority list dogs, marc, dad, rest of pets then Richard oh mind you i have a few good friends in there somewhere.....

Im leaving Marc in the flat fully furnished (to good to that son of mine lol) and moving over the bridge dont know how i will handle being out of EDinburgh as in not living here all my friends, work, family are here family as in MArc and Dad. So renting for a year then going to buy either over there or back in Edinburgh that is my choice and if i dont like it or can handle being away i will be back in Edinburgh after the year with or without him but he says if i cant handle it he will come to Edinburgh (thats cause im a catch!!!!! )

Only good side might be easier to get my raw dog food delivered.....lol Edinburgh is a nightmare cant find anyone having to buy at pets at home just now.......

So will be to and back from Edinburgh every day as thats where i work......

The cost over the bridge to rent is a lot cheaper than Edinburgh and i couldnt find any where here that would allow the pets a couple said possibly but when i told them i had 3 dogs oh god know are you mad!!! arse holes......lol

So i am not stressing to the max as we move in on the 11th May 2 weeks on Friday..........

God am i doing the right thing!!!!!!!

Congratulations, you are good to leave all the furniture, lol 2 weeks hey, just before we move

We sign on wed for ours, but Gaz has to put a wall up first so the dogs are all safe and sound Couldnt live with ourselves if any got out.

Are you having new furniture Lorz? We are mainly, we keeping the beds, fridge and Tv's but the rest I need to get busy and buy.

Are you excited, I will be once we sign, coz till then I dont want to buy things, just in case anything goes wrong

PostSubject: Re: On the move   Tue Apr 24, 2012 10:07 am

we are only renting it for a year to see if i can cope being away from MArc and Dad and the travelling back and forth to Edinburgh every day... so will see.

Unfortunatley cant afford to buy all new furniture at the moment so i am taking some things from home but Richard has a suite and a TV in storage so we are going to use them, taking my bed and my 2 units and my comp!!! surround sound speakers etc etc

Hope you are settling in Lainee????

Sandra i bet you are excited!!!! all the white goods are there in the house allready which is good and i am taking my chest freezer that i have for the dogs food... STrangely enough im not excited at the min think i am just stressing about money and what i have to do and organise. I have a s**t load of stuff having to borrrow a van from work for the move my boss just doesnt know that yet....

didnt know you had moved Lainee, are you settled in and everything, was it stressful

Bren, are you all done? Unpacked and everything? Decorated etc

Lorz, you seem pretty much where I am, I really can't be arsed to rush it though

The bloke gave us the keys a few weeks back I said we shouldn't pay him and claim squatters rights

Its only a mile or two up the rd so it won't be to hard, gotta get the garden dog proof, gaz has already had a machine in to dig out the footings

We gotta go look around tomorrow after signing for furniture I hate shopping, not gonna rush decorating, I will do one room at a time here and there but we do need to completely pull out the bathroom and put a new one in

Not unpacked yet or decorated
Ive been in the conservatory where most of the boxes are unpacking today
We ve been in nearly a month and i only found the knifes and forks today
I can give my mum in law hers back now

I did take a few photos but cant find the cable to transfer them onto pc

This house needs gutting so we re gonna take our time and do it properly as and when we can afford it

Its a nightmare getting anything delivered because we have limited vehicle access no HGVs infact its tight for a transit van
I ordered a chest freezer and im just waiting for a call to see if they will be able to deliver If they park on the road before our turning they will have to bring it down a really steep hill on a trolley about 100 metres
I just hope they will because i desperately need to get a freezer for the dogs food

It arrived this morning in torrential rain

The lorry came down the really tight road God knows how they reversed back up it but they managed

I worry about coming down it in the car

Some lorry drivers are amazing

Ive been trying to find somewhere to put it as i havent got room in the kitchen
Luckily ive got a plug socket in the understairs cupboard and it fits in there brilliantly

I can get the dogs food tomorrow now
