| To put the fish tank up for sale today I didn't really want too but it's for the best, it'll be easier when We move and a lot less hassle That's if our money ever comes through... Our mortgage in principal runs out in end of November .... My stomach is constantly in knots | |

| Awww thats a shame but like you said its probably for the best You dont want your fish all dying during the move Couldnt you give the fish away or sell them and keep the tank so atleast you have all the gear for when you want to get some more Moving fish sounds like such a nightmare | |

| Dont panic Have you used a mortgage advisor to arrange your mortgage if yes then ring them up and ask what the situation is If you have had a survey done on the property your buying then you will either get offered a mortgage or you will be advised why they wont give you one PM me if you want any other advice and dont want to put all your business on here | |

| Already panicking Hun We've used a mortgage advisor, he's aware obviously that we can't sort the mortgage out until the money goes through, and he's also made a note and told the mortgage company this too (Santander, we already have our current mortgage with them too) We get a free survey done with our mortgage company, but they don't do this until we get the mortgage Grrrr If this bloody money hurries up we can see where we stand and see what's happening, it's the not knowing that does it, and possibility of getting our hopes up for nothing | |

| Can we get someone out to do a survey quicker than the mortgage people, to speed things up?, or would the mortgage company still send someone out!! ... Our buyers sent a surveyor out a week after putting their offer in | |

| You ve just gone through your purchase the opposite way As long as your deposit money comes through and the valuation is ok then there shouldnt be a problem I am assuming your solicitor has been carrying on with the purchase getting searches etc done Have a word with your financial advisor if your money hasnt come through by next week and ask if your OIP can be extended It may be that they will reoffer in principle but change the deal you were initially offered iykwim | |

| You can but it will cost you money and it will only benefit you if its a specialist survey like a homebuyers or structural Dont go down that route unless you have to its £500 - £1000 You will not get a mortgage offer until the lender (santander) have carried out their valuation survey The mortgage offer is based on this survey | |

| Yes everything else has already been done searches etc ... We've done all the necessary house tests asked of us, morning more has been mentioned about the indemnity, but we will just pay that if need be!! Just the money to wait for now!! Our principal runs out about the 29th November approx Ahh right... So it's just a matter of keeping everything crossed that it all falls into place then It's out of my hands | |

| The money is definitely guaranteed....but we thought we would have it by now... I will definitely get the OIP extended what will we have to do for that .... Will we have to produce pay statements and everything again My mum is coming into some money this week or next.... I'm hoping and praying she will lend it to us if we haven't got ours but I don't think she will. I can see her being a bitch and not letting us have it, even if it is only for a week | |

| You would need to speak to your financial adviser Hopefully they may be able to extend it for another month without any problem Like i said i would probably wait until next week just incase your money comes through or you manage to borrow it off your mum | |

| You could always ask the financial adviser if you could continue with the mortgage application by paying the valuation survey fee yourself instead of getting it free I know it means you will be shelling out cash but atleast you then wouldnt have to try extend the OIP They are normally about £200 for a basic valuation Just a thought but you need to speak to your adviser whatever you decide | |

| Hmmm now that is a thought ... It might be worth considering tbh ...£200 is nothing if it means speeding the mortgage application up!... I might pop into town tomorrow actually and have a word and get it sorted Will feel a Bit better if I can do that!!! I cant rely on my mum | |
