A pigeon

Flew into the glass window pane in my conservatory and killed itself yesterday  

I heard this crash and wondered WTF had happened   the dogs went nuts barking   
i looked out and saw a pigeon staggering about trying to steady itself    it was a shame but i could tell it was badly hurt so tbh i was glad when it keeled over and stopped breathing   
It all happened very quickly      I would of taken it to the vets if it had survived  

I dont like pigeons but i hate seeing anything suffer     

I had to get hubby to move it when he got home from work    he said it probably broke its neck

We put it behind the shed for the fox  

 poor bird, we get quite a lot of little birds flying into our two living room windows, at least two have died, a Siskin and a Bullfinch, we have had to go out and see to a few as well, thank god they lived, it's quite a bang with the little ones Bren, but yours must of been even worse.
